Saint of the Day: The patron saint of servants, Saint Notburga had a miserable time at the hands of her employers. She was sacked for feeding food intended for pigs to the poor and ended up working on a farm where the farmer insisted she worked the Sabbath for fear of losing his crops. An angry Notburga threw her sickle in the air where it stayed, looking for all the world like a harvest moon.
