He was: Here one minute, gone the next

Well, that was quick.

Junior's time at Watford will go down in history, with the likes of Colin Simpson, Tony Meola, Eddie Denton and Mark Robson, as one of the shortest Watford first team careers of all-time. A few friendlies, a couple of goals against Redditch United. And that was pretty much it, save for a disinterested and ponderous forty-five minutes in Alec Chamberlain's testimonial.

Would he have been any good? Who knows. He never really looked the part in matches against us for his previous clubs, and with King and Henderson both off the mark in quick time, even if his documents had been in order he would surely have only played a supporting role. I'll leave all the questions about whether he played for Walsall, Derby and Rotherham with fake documents, and why Watford didn't spot the anomaly themselves to others and say just one more thing.

I think we owe the Danish passport control officer responsible a few beers.
