Saint of the Day: Saint Benezet was a shepherd who was told in a vision to build a bridge over the Rhone at Avignon. Officials refused to help so Benezet lifted the first heavy foundation stone into place by himself. The assistance he needed to get the bridge built was finally given after eighteen miracles took place at the site.
