Previous reports: Watford 0 Reading 3, 30/04/03
Saint of the Day: Saint Adjutor was a Norman noble captured during the Crusades but miraculously set free and transported home by St Mary Magdalene. On his return to France, he made safe a dangerous whirlpool in the Seine by sprinkling it with holy water. For this reason, he is the patron saint invoked against drowning.
