Saint of the Day: Saint Leonard was born into Pagan nobility but felt the call to a religious life. His prayers repelled an invading army, which may be why he is the patron saint against burglary. He found life in a monastery too busy and moved instead to a forest where he lived off herbs, wild berries and spring water.
