Saint of the day: The most celebrated miracle of Saint Ansovinus, an Italian bishop, occurred when he tried to buy drink in an inn on the way to Rome. It was obvious that the wine was watered down and the innkeeper even refused to give him and his companions cups to drink from. Ansovinus took off his cloak and ordered their insolent host to pour the wine into the hood, where the water drained out leaving pure wine.
