How did they do?
Heaved around like a lame elephant waiting for someone to put it out of its misery. Nobody did, but Derby's survival was due to not quite being as inept as certain others rather than any great achievement of their own. Except beating us at Pride Park in the freezing cold, naturally, but they looked a shocking side back at our place at the end of the season.

How will they do?
George Burley's mettle will be tested, but he's started pretty well by getting rid of faces that really needed to be got rid of, and recruiting quite intelligently. Still operating with a hand tied behind his back, however (and possibly being stalked by a disturbed individual with slicked back black hair and a possessed stare answering to the name of "John")... Derby won't do any worse than last time, but won't be troubling the play-offs either.
