You'd be a fool to write off Dario Gradi but they've lost some key faces in Hulse, Walton and Jack. Will probably go down again, sadly.

When it seemed that everything was a little bit, well, not right - returning to the First Division to find it without Portsmouth and Wolves is rather like coming home to find that someone's thrown out your favourite slippers and eaten all the yoghurts in your fridge - along come Crewe, to restore a bit of sanity.
