Seeing as Koppel et al. have effectively discounted Wimbledon's previous existence it seems merely a matter of convenience to link this club to the one that finished last season. In the light of matters since, last season was an irrelevance.

How will they do?
Well off the pitch, Division One's first sub-1000 gate for as long as I can remember is surely only a matter of time. On the pitch, you have to wonder how long the playing side can retain any sense of motivation. Will almost certainly go down, which makes you wonder why the populace of Milton Keynes can't make the easy trips to Northampton or Luton...

Of more interest altogether, of course, are the real Wimbledon, who conveniently enough have a home fixture to Raynes Park Vale the day that we play Wimblestein...

Wimblestein on Big Brother...?
Buy the rights to BB, claim loudly that it's not fulfilling its potential...and change it into something else entirely, like a detective series set in Dorset or a fly-on-the-wall documentary about a chicken farm in Cumbria.
