BLIND, STUPID AND DESPERATE

02/03: Preview: Preston North End
BSaD opinion
by Matt Rowson

How did they do?
Never quite scaled the heights of the previous season; started surprisingly poorly, were knocked by both the protracted departure of Jon Macken and the exit of Moyes, ended up just below the play-offs.

How will they do?
Difficult to judge. Craig Brown comes across as a very earnest and steady bloke, but then so did Luca Vialli. PNE have a decent squad of players, however, and ought to be challenging for a play-off place.

Preston on Big Brother...?
Having been pleasant enough, in a bland kinda way, for the majority of the series, Preston earn the respect and adulation of the housemates and the nation by winning a crucial task in controversial circumstances, leaving the most detestable housemate to endure another week on the poor side and complain pointlessly to Big Brother about the unfairness of it all.
